'16 TN ATH JoeJuan Williams

Well guys Joejuan has bn ruled ineligible by the tssaa. The said it takes a crow 18 miles to mk it from his old residence to his new school and it takes 25 in a car to get there. This bologna is why the state of TN high school athletics is so far behind other bordering athlete producing states. TSSAA is probably the worst governing body other than NCAA. I think we might go the court room route. Somebody has to stand up to the awful governing bodies of ppl ala the NFLPA. Kid moves from Nashville to a whole nother city/county and they make it an issue.

This happened to me when I was in high school. I had until a certain date to appeal to the TSSAA about it and attempt to get eligible.

They sent me the notice the day after the deadline to to appeal. They really are complete garbage as an organization.

Well that sucks... And I agree about TSSAA. I wrestled in high school in TN for a perennial power house. I was always hearing about their stupidity

Bunch of Communists.

This may be a stupid question but could he enroll in another school and be eligible before the school year starts? Is 20 miles the magic number? This is pathetic, the kid may just want to get away from influences I don't know. He's a young kid trying to develop a skill set that will make him prosperous in life how is that different than any other high schooler? It

Didn't he transfer from a private school (Father Ryan) to public high school (Hendersonville)?

He needs to transfer over to Enworth. That would help get him ready for the Orange shirt.

would never let a kid associated with me go to Ensworth. The modern day plantation. Also wouldn't work as Ensworth is closer to FR than Hendersonville HS where his mother moved to.

Are MBA and BA good people compared to Ensworth?

I imagine they're all pretty stuck up. FRHS isn't a whole lot better either. My wife's a FRHS alum and her outlook on the world and people unlike her was quite "misconstrued", for lack of a better word, when we first started dating.

Interesting reply. Thanks, BG.

Much better as far as the ppl care for the kids ince football season is over. Ensworth to me is a modern day plantation. They send a few AA males around to little league and middle schools hunting and recruiting kids. Then ince their sr season is over its a rap. Bowers is a d*#= and could care less if a kid get film out or a scholarship so in the long run it hurts the kids. I see it every yr. From Tavares to Orleans to Corn to Ferby to a kid this yr Myles Douglas. Amazing how they hide this. I kid you not they tried to force Orleans Darkwa to use their dr. He was hurt and need immediate attention on his knee or ankle. Their dr said oh you're fine. His mom goes to the school and loses it with a stick in her hand takes him off the field and goes to their family dr. To make a long story short they use you up in athletics and personally don't care at what cost it is to your future.

In the tweet thread, had link to Scout that said 7th trip was his best. I did not realize he had visited that many times, but that certainly looks like great news!

And if I'm not mistaken it was his first in over a year so the first six were early in the process

Pretty much Varsity Blues in a nutshell.
