We aren't underdogs to Vandy in anything to do with football. JJ just can't bring himself to commit to a sinking ship and is hoping Butch changes his mind.

Him pushing back his commit makes me think it was Vandy or LSU but with questions surrounding future for both coaches over next yr or so it probably made it uncomfortable

The date was pushed back so he can take the official to UT and due to the musical chairs going on in coaching. Secondly he will probably pick between the 2 local schools and not LSU. Last Mason's daughter i think goes to FRHS.

While the terminology is unsettling, Vandy leads/led us in JJ, so him pushing his date back is good.

This has an Emmanuel Smith feel to me. Local kid that is a tweener that other programs passed on because they weren't sure where he would project at and there were other, sure candidates ahead of him.

Best of luck to him. He might only win 12-15 games his entire career but he will get a good education in a great city.

I guess not playing sr yr was a big deal to the schools. This would be a bigger deal if Franklin was there recruiting but Mason doesn't recruit enough around him so whatever
