He was in the recruits area at the Vol Walk then walked down closer with what appeared to be his younger brother.

Watching his film he looks better than the no rating he has on 247, what's up with that?

Probably because he hasn't been around long enough to be noticed by the services. Last year was his first season ever (well, in 6 years) and he's already playing well. I'd imagine that he will get some recognition after this season. I'm going to attend some games since McCallie is my alma mater.

Chattanooga (Tenn.) McCallie School quarterback JaVaughn Craig is the trigger man for an explosive option offense in East Tennessee and while he's already on to the next season, several major college coaches are beginning to circle the waters for the 2016 prospect and he could become the best quarterback in the state of Tennessee in his class.

This fall, Craig has been to see games at Mississippi State twice, Tennessee, Purdue and most recently Vanderbilt. Duke is coming by his high school to see him on Monday and he's also getting serious interest from the likes of Missouri, Ohio State, South Carolina, Virginia and Wake Forest.

East Tennessee junior QB has plenty of upside

Would be nice but idk if we can squeeze him in with Kendall and then Dormandy, Jennings, and Dobbs.

The thing with Craig, like with Jennings, is that if QB falls through he is more than athletic enough to play another position.

He loves UT and would commit with an offer.

Would be risky IMO. UK is just sitting there and would be appealing to Kendall if UT looked like they may take multiple QBs again. With his brother already there, IMO don't risk losing him being greedy. Now if Craig were ONLY being recruited to play something other than QB, alright. IMO don't give Kendall any reason to question his commitment. You got the QB you wanted for 2016, don't screw it up now.

Neal Brown leaving UK will hurt their minuscule chances with Kendall. Your point remains about keeping him happy with his current commitment to Tennessee, but UK's minor threat took a hit when Brown left.
