Trying to have an in case option. One of the bad things with waiting to have Brown visit on the 29th. It could very well be too late to fill that spot if Brown isn't a Vol.

What I would do and what Butch would do could be two different things, but I would take this kid if he wanted in. Brown may be better, but this kid looks like a good player.

I probably would too. I could just see it saying out where Daniels is told to wait till after the coaches see what Brown wants to do on the 29th and then they lose both.

Texas and Louisiana are two states that have not been friendly to Tennessee in regard to recruiting. I'd like to take those resources and put them in FLA, GA, Virginia, etc.

I'm sure both kids are takes. We're taking 2 DTs this cycle. Right now we have 0.

I agree. I think we take one more DT. Brown, Daniels, and Thompson are all HS guys.

Euless has a huge Tongan base due to DFW Airport being a major employer. Large linemen galore out of that tribe. Practicing against those thick muthas make Trinity linemen physically ready day one. The primo players usually don't get past Louisiana tho.

Elsewhere on the defensive line, Tennessee was able to land the last remaining official visit for four-star defensive tackle Chris Daniels out of Texas. He just committed to Oklahoma in December but will see Texas, Tennessee and Ohio State this month.

Euless Trinity might had just a few go to A&M while I was down there but most went either to Texas or Oklahoma. A&M usually got most of their talent from the south east Texas and southwest Texas.
