Houston will get 9-10 wins this year and Herman will only be at Houston for 2 years and then a big school will come knocking.

Maybe not. Houston has recently upgraded almost all facilities (basketball is next). A billionaire regent is trying to force the BIG XII accept them as members...won't happen, too many Texas shools already. UH is now tier 1 in academics and the rumor is that the PAC may be interested in getting into the Texas TV market plus screw the Whorns for backing out of the offer from the PAC. Crazy sounding rumor but who knows for sure? Missouri in the SEC sounded crazy until it happened.

I doubt that happens this year. Next year yes but I'd say it's getting to "too late now" territory. If UH does in fact play in the American conference this year then they will be a 9-10 win team.

Who would join UH if in fact they joined the PAC?

even though i don't think it happens i would love to see Boise join. 1. Boise doesn't want to be in the big leagues. 2. no real market growth for the PAC. 3. Pac 12 might be afraid of having Boise in

Boise was once a truck driving school that grew into a JUCO which grew into a four year school. The snobs at Cal and Stanford would never vote them in. Still amazed that AU and ASU ever got in.

If the PAC were bold/crazy enough to take UH then SMU would be the smart move. UH would have a travel partner for minor sports, the PAC would have schools in the two largest Texas markets, both schools are located close to major airports (Houston Hobby and Dallas Love Field) and hotels.SMU is old money Dallas and their academics and the Park Cities area would pass the Cal/Stanford smell test. With SMU's location, academics, money and former football success (most of which date back to the 40s and 50s), they would be the the logical fit.

[edit] UH AND SMU to the PAC would chap Texass arse lol. As full members of the PAC they would cock block any potential move by the whorns to the PAC.

This.

They're still complaining about the AZ schools, they weren't happy about adding Utah, and they wouldn't accept Oklahoma and Oklahoma State alone due to academics.

IF the PAC expands, it will to 16 schools, little brothers would have to bring along some powerful big brothers.

Around and around he goes...decommited from Michigan today. Who's next?

Four-star DT Jordan Elliott latest to decommit from UM

Four-star defensive tackle Jordan Elliott from Houston Westside High is the latest to decommit from Michigan's 2016 recruiting class, according to Scout.com's Jason Higdon.

Elliott is the fifth player in the past week to decommit from Michigan.

The first day of the national signing period is Feb. 3.
The 6-foot-4, 300 pound lineman's decommitment was not a shock, though, as it has been speculated that he will commit to Texas, according to multiple reports on social media.

I would think so. Probably making room for Gary.

According to my Michigan buddy, this was Elliot's decision. Michigan wants him. Apparently when he comitted to Michigan, he thought he could get other Texas guys to follow, and they didn't.

Elliot also got into a Twitter beef with a recruiting reporter a few weeks ago for saying he was gonna end up at Texas.

Looks like he's got some apologizing to do
