I usually don't do this but this is a kid we should offer. He's killing in 6A Alabama ball.

'17 WR Jaylond Adams

2015 6A All-State
2016 Mr. Football Candidate
8 GMs
69 touches 1,425yds 24TDs

2016 Highlights - Jaylond Adams highlights - Hudl

He's had about 6 TDs called back that are over 50+ yards. Flat out special in open space.

Don't think he camped a lot but he's a legit 4.39 guy. And plays like it every play.

Jaylond Adams, Minor , Running Back

Jaylond Adams' (Adamsville, AL) Football Stats | MaxPreps

Don't take our word for it. His film doesn't tell no lies. This season, Adams has caught 36 passes for 914 yards and 13 touchdowns. He's also run for 366 yards on 31 carries with nine scores. Oh, and he’s scored twice on special teams.

Oh, and his offers include Illinois, UAB, Troy, Southern Miss, South Alabama and others. Auburn also watched Adams play during Minor's spring game against Hewitt-Trussville.

His numbers against Clay-Chalkville seem unrealistic. But we were there. Eight catches for 265 yards. Adams averaged 33.1 yards per catch.

Is he small? With those stats and those offers my first question is undersized and my second is grades.

In person he's ridiculous. His second gear looks flat out fake. He's a perfect slot WR. And very tough and selfless. Will block too, that team as a whole is impressive but he's a difference maker for sure. Best HS player in Alabama this year. Was on the same field as Nico Collins last week and Jaylond easily outperformed him. Nico has the prototypical size but this kid is dynamic.

Didn't camp a lot. Most Bham kids don't camp enough and get overlooked. He's not huge but he's perfect for the slot though. And very strong outside. Kid lines up and produces all over the field. Look at his highlights he's all over the field on it.

If he is really good do you think Auburn and Bama are overlooking??

Doesn't fit Bama and Auburn sucks at recruiting in-state talent to tell the truth. The kid at Maryland starting at QB should be at Auburn but they didn't recruit him. He's a freshman and nasty in space. His highlights speak better than me. Watch them if you haven't. That's 5 games worth of plays. He's destroying along with his team. And that's 6A football in Alabama.

You send his film to the Bobs?

If this kid is putting up those type of numbers at 6A football in the state of Alabama where in the world is Bama?

I mean in their home state a guy that looks to be really really good & not offered him yet? Something fishy going on about that? He's not very big but he will grow & strengthen. Puzzles me here!

He doesn't fit Bama offense......

But, you'd have to admit that it's odd for Bama to skip over a play of this caliber from their home state especially. They usually go after ALL star players in the 4* & 5* range regardless.

He wasn't even ranked by services until lately. Big year making them take notice. He was All-State last year but he's not a huge WR. Kid is dominating now that the players around him have stepped up.

And Auburn as well. Neither have offered him per 247. That says a lot IMO. Could be a diamond in the rough but can we afford to roll the dice on an unranked RB whose best offer is maybe Arky state? Dont think so.

Tony, this kid is unranked on 247 and is a 2* on rivals. Not a 5*, 4* or even a 3*.

I can agree with that.

But, this is Bama country Big. They usually offer anybody & everybody. Especially with the stats he's been putting up on the field. I don't care what star ranking status that he is. It's Bama!

He's a WR...... just plays some RB. Auburn recruits this state terribly to tell the truth.
