Breaker,

Have you tried to get TN coaches on him?

Why would I?

Would you suggest any kid play for Butch Jones and his offense right now? I'm not in any way handling his recruiting but I would not want a kid of mine playing WR at Tennessee. System is too inconsistent week in and week out. Has nothing to do with QB play. Just watching the scheme of things going on.

I understand and I certainly know where you are coming from. I didn't know how heavily the kid was being recruited and thought a TN offer or look might be a big deal. I hope we can feel better about things sometime in the future and we would feel great about any kid we care about going to TN.

I wouldn't mind a Defensive player coming there but not an offensive player. I don't know what we are running week to week. Offense has zero identity.

I honestly think it's a little bit of both. Uneven QB play and incosistent playcalling/scheme

He's a WR...... just plays some RB. Auburn recruits this state terribly to tell the truth.

Auburn does fairly well in the Madison/Huntsville area. One of the radio shows up here actually just acknowledged that "fact" as well, a few weeks ago. The industry in this area tends to lend itself more to Auburn graduates and I think that fandom and influence leads kids to Auburn more so than Bama.

They pass through Bham and go North. Smh

The LB they have a Moultry is monster though and he's from here.

It's like they've conceded much of the the I-20 corridor and Dameyune Craig has taken the Mobile area with him to LSU.

Louisville is dipping in here now. Got a nice athlete out of Montgomery and trying to get a big physical WR that I wish we'd go after. Kid has offers from Louisville and Pitt. Legit 6'2 205lb kid that is a go getter and very very physical.

In the past Louisville took kids that could not academically qualify for SEC programs. Montgomery public schools are probably below standard now academically. Have to wonder if the ACC might be giving Louisville a break?

This offense is hampered by horribly inconsistent qb play. Its obvious given the A&M game vs. USC jr.

It's QB play. Most important position on field and ours has no confidence because the staff tried to fix him and make him a pocket passer.

And dumb calls to run hitches all over the field. Both inconsistent QB play and weak route concepts hurt this offense greatly.

Honestlt i think the route combos are due to Dobbs inability to read coverage most of the time. Again its basically a consistency issue. Hard for a play caller to get a good rhythm with bad qb play.

Nah not really..... Play designs can be simple but better than what we run. Hurts can't throw at Alabama but the concepts passing are better than ours by far. Our play designs are TRASH. A CB in zone coverage can usually play two dudes with no problem.

As much as we don't like him, Kiffin is an elite OC...that's the difference.

I agree. I also believe that he is so arrogant that he becomes a liability at times. He is the reason Bama didn't win the first playoff imo. Also, there was absolutely no reason for them to pass against us, but he got all pass happy in the 2nd quarter and kept us in the game. Soon as he went back to running it they ran away with the game. But for the most part, he is elite and a great QB coach. Still a scumbag tho
