Either this kid runs a 3.9 40 or EVERYONE he played against is insanely slow. I mean the fact he was running with so many people looks great, but it does not look like he is moving very fast. As such there is very little evidence of lateral speed. Don't get me wrong, I am impressed ,especially with the sick move(s) at 2:45. He dead legged like 4 times. The fact they play by CFL rules kind of inflates the stats. It's really hard when defenders have to take on that many blockers coming at them with a full head of steam. Heck he rushed for almost 1000 yards in the highlights alone.

not saying he has to.. Saying it would give a better picture of him as a prospect. Straight line speed is great, but for a RB lateral movement is very important. He won't be getting daylight like that in the SEC. For a WR or kick returner its less of an issue, but for a RB its a big deal.

I think can work behind the right offensive line. But He's not 6-3 247 like Derrick Henry so I think he probably possess it naturally.
