'17 FL OLB Shanon Reid (UT Committ 12/7/2016)

Word on the street Reid is going to need a lot of time in the weight room

Can look at a picture and know that. Being a EE he will be fine. Ain't no thing for a kid his age to put on a healthy 15-30lbs in a strength program in college by fall camp. He will be fine at LB.

I was right about Todd Kelly Jr. last off-season when I said he was out of shape. The guy took a step back this year in terms of speed and athleticism. McDowell has never been in great shape and as a result has always been slow.

We need more athletes on defense if we want to improve from the joke we were last season. And guys like TKjr and McDowell simply aren't cutting it.

Bituli and Kirkland need to start at LB and Abernathy and Warrior need to start at safety.

Staff must look seriously into benching TKjr and McDowell.

Wish we could bench you and VN would drastically improve.

Not saying Callaway isn't talented but that's what you get when you take a chance on playing true freshmen. They will make a great play and then turn around and get burnt for a touchdown or fumble the ball. It's inevitable. They need time to grow and learn and mature especially in this league.

You're not remembering things very well.

Going into 2015, you said Kelly would never be a good safety because of his love handles.

Summer 2016 rolls around, you saw a pic of Kelly where he seemed to have trimmed down, and you predicted he'd have 7 interceptions and be All-SEC.


Basically, you were just talking out of your a$$ as usual.

I agree we need better athletes on the backend of our defense....both of these guys may be a step slow of prototyipical, but play with good instincts.

Until we sign the next Raynoch Thompson, Eric Westmoreland, Eddie Moore, Eric Berry....we gotta play what we got...

I can gain eight pounds by the end of the weekend! Of course it would be from junk food and alcohol and I might have to be hospitalized but I could do it! :angry:

Bro you just gotta drink whey and vary your reps. Sometimes I like to spin around in a few circles after a set, get those muscles really confused. So easy to gain 30 lbs of lean muscle in a month.
