I'd bet we take 2

This will be interesting to watch, IMO. Croom will be gone, so we'll for sure be down 1 TE after 2016. I'm assuming Wolf will stick around, but he has ll the tools to jump to the NFL early. Between Jakob and Creamer, I wouldn't be surprised to see one of those guys transfer. Devante Brooks looks like he'll be a beast, but he's got some serious recovery to do on that knee of his. Austin Pope and Eli Wolf seem to be cut in the mold of pass catching TEs the staff wants to incorporate more.

From where things stand now, it's not really clear whether we'll have 6 returning TEs in 2017 or only 3-4. It's hard to tell how many the staff will want right now.

To succeed with the pass catching TE mold, they will need to actually incorporate passes to the TE in their scheme

As a former TE it irks me that Wolf's talent and abilities are so underutilized so far. I really hope that changes this season. He has Jason Witten level talent... :salute:

Tight end Kemore Gamble, an ex-Miami pledge, said Florida and Tennessee are tied on top.

He said he grew up liking the Gators and his rapport with his former recruiter for Miami, Larry Scott, now the tight ends coach for the Volunteers keeps Tennessee of high interest.

Gamble, the nationÂ’s No. 13 tight end by 247Sports.com Composite Rankings, said he plans to visit Tennessee and Alabama, who hasnÂ’t offered but is showing interest, this summer.

Oh how the mighty gators have fallen that they can't afford an engagement ring and instead have to give their significant others a commitment watch.
