Taylor mentioned positives about Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia and Auburn during his wide-ranging, 11-minute interview, but he arguably gave the Vols the highest praise of the four, mentioning his strong relationships with linebacker coach Tommy Thigpen and others in the Tennessee program.

“Coach Thigpen, he’s a big-time person, and … for me, I mean, I talk to him like he’s an uncle,” Taylor said. “He talks to my mom a lot, too, and there’s just a great connection with the coaches. Like, we’ve made a real strong bond.”

While Thigpen seems to have left the biggest mark on Taylor, the linebacker said several things in the Tennessee program have stood out to him. He said everything about the Vols has looked better and better all three times he’s visited Knoxville.

Are we sure that Wooten was ahead of him on the board? His offer list seems better, although I know that's not the only indicator.

Wooten committed to auburn..was it even mentioned that one was higher then the other? Your post made my head hurt

There is a comment from Austin Price on the first page about interest in Taylor increasing after Wooten picked Auburn. If a two sentence post that used capital letters and punctuation made your head hurt, then the message board format might not be for you. My nieces Gymboree class meets tomorrow, I can see if there is an opening if you like.

PREDICTION: Tennessee. Taylor and Allen will likely end up at the same school together and I can see the duo heading out of state to the Vols.-Rivals Mike Farrell

The mention of Allen is Michael Allen, DE from Lanier HS

I was under the impression Taylor would be on the inside and Henderson outside.

I figured if anyone had Taylor's spot it would be Burnam.

Went to the Georgia rivals board and they all seem to have thought he was a lock to us. Now they say Oklahoma is probably his destination
