From the looks of his hudl, if this kid continuously gets better, he'll play on Sunday's!!! GREAT pick up & VERY underrated, IMO!

Last year, Tucker proved to be one of the state’s most imposing linemen with his physical, smash-mouth playing style. Standing at 6-foot-6 and 325-pounds, he was a mismatch for every lineman he faced. Due to his pure size and strength, Tucker kept a clean pocket for his quarterback in pass protection. When run blocking, he fired off the line and opened up big holes for the ball carrier.

When asked of his playing style, Tucker said he is “very aggressive” and “dominant” with a habit of playing to the whistle. This has combined with his physical traits to create a highly coveted prospect. As of now, Tucker says “a lot” of school see him as a left tackle, which is his favorite position on the offensive line.

If that kid is 325-330 lbs in that pic then he carries it really well.

"just caught up with him. Said Mahoney text him every day. Came up thinking he might commit. Relieved to get it done. Said could play tackle or guard. Jones announced his commitment to everyone at the event. 6-7, 330 right now."

Jordan Tucker stands 6-foot-7 and weighs 337 pounds. “I’ve been bigger than everyone else my entire life,” Tucker said.

That’s worked out well for him. The 3-star prospect from Roswell (Ga.) has played left tackle since his first season of football when he was seven years old. “They put me on the o-line and I haven’t switched from the position ever since,” Tucker said.

This is the commit I'm most excited about. This young man's film is like Prince after a pickup game.

Looking at his film, it's tough to tell how he'd project on the left side- his team just didn't throw it that much. What I was impressed with is his motor, ability to get down and chop block for a guy his size, and just his run blocking in general. Did seem to be much smaller kids he was mauling for the most part. Might project as a RT.

But I have to say, so far in the Jones era the evaluation of O Linemen has been pretty damn good.

His level of competition is going up this year so their should be some better opportunities to evaluate him. Although I still don't know if he'll match up against anyone remotely his size.

Not sure why so many people are hating on him. Good film. Great size and frame. Decent feet. I'm glad he's a Vol.

Oh that's an easy one. They are star gazers. Not a 3 start they like or a 4 star they don't.:thud:

Roswell is a perennial playoff contender, and plays a pretty good level of competition already. They are bumping up, but technically, every 7A school in Georgia is bumping up.

First game is slated for tv on Fox Sports Southeast this Friday. Roswell is opening against Buford in a kickoff classic. Should kickoff at 5:30 from what I read.
