Don’t see how we would have room. Already have to make room just to sign 25 and keep the roster at 85.
It is an issue in regards to signing a full class of 25 with 2 seniors redshirting and one requesting a 6th year of eligibility. Also the addition of 3 walk ons being put on scholarship. We are well below the 85 roster limit. Pruitt mentioned in his post game presser about how well below the 85 scholarship limit we were. During the season he said we had 60 something. That won't be an issue

If this vast number of kids getting kicked to the curb were true? There’d be a FEW videos! Especially the feel good stories where walkons earn scholarships. First one of those gets yanked, the Tennessean and KNS have endless fodder.Yes and no. Scholly’s are renewed annually. So the walk ons are on for academic terms 2019-2020 not 2020-2021.
They don’t make cute videos for when they don’t get renewed and you can’t go to training table anymore haha
Numbers debates are tough, bc there is always a creative “accounting” method to get everyone in that they want.

Yea we gonna let several road trip to the Kansas b-ball game together and let Brian Williams and Tyler Smith chaperone the trip. I kid I kid GBOFreak did a thread early in December. Let's look at scholarship numbers
It appears the number is 66 which, if accurate, means we have to lose a few more to take a full class of 25.
The 3 new schollies I was referring to won't even start until spring semester 2020.Yes and no. Scholly’s are renewed annually. So the walk ons are on for academic terms 2019-2020 not 2020-2021.

We are losing atleast 9 Srs, so that gets us to 57. So we will have plenty of room for 25 and a few transfers if we want any.
I hate to get into this discussion again but please go look at the players listed in the attached thread below. We are losing atleast 9 Srs, so that gets us to 57. So we will have plenty of room for 25 and a few transfers if we want any.
I understand that but we are only allowed to sign 25 per recruiting cycle and transfers count towards the 25. When Pruit mention that statement we had 65 scholarship athletes it’s down around 63ish now. The 25 per recruiting cycle is the number that will put the squeeze on you.We are well below the 85 roster limit.
