Hockman, who is ranked the No. 11 pro-style quarterback for the 2017 class, has Auburn in his top four with North Carolina, Tennessee and Florida State. The left-handed quarterback from McEachern (Ga.) will visit North Carolina on Wednesday, Florida State next week and Tennessee in early March.
Hockman, a one-time Georgia commitment, would like to make his college choice before his senior season.
“But only if I’m ready,” Hockman said.
The visits should only help.
In his sophomore and junior seasons, Hockman combined to throw for 3,454 yards with 38 touchdowns and nine interceptions.
