Why is he leaving?

Another former UT target/commit Trevor Lawrence overshadowed him so he probably doesn't see playing time there even after current QB Kelly Bryant graduates.

The former UT commit and 5* QB from Clemson has just announced he will be leaving Clemson.

Do we try and get him to the right Orange this time around ? He liked us before , may be we can persuade him again .. thoughts ??

He's choosing between Purdue and Northwestern and no we don't want him. He came on a visit just before decommitting for the sole purpose of trying to pull recruits to Clemson and negative recruit UT. He's credited for talking Tee Higgins into switching to Clemson. He can take his butt somewhere else IMO.

Why would we want someone that came here and recruited against us? Took some recruits away to Clemson.

Why would we worry about Clemson with Bailey anyway? They're not even recruiting him, he doesn't have a Clemson offer. Personally, I don't get afraid of big offers UT targets pickup, certainly not with Pruitt and co. Hopefully he does get a Clemson offer so Pruitt can beat out Dabo as well.

Original point was that Clemson wasn’t a big factor for Trevor Lawrence until his senior season. They’ll recruit every top QB...and this kid qualifies.
