I know a life was lost in an accident, which is an unfortunate event that occurs everyday all over our country. I'm not lessening the value of a life, but to call someone a thug for driving on a suspended license goes beyond being judgmental. I'm sure this kid has punished himself enough over the incident.

Hopefully he punishes himself the rest of his life, he knew he wasn't suppose to be driving but did it anyway, he should still be in jail.

I was 34 years old when I was hit by a 19 year old kid who was high on pills. I walked away without a scratch but he died. It still haunts me to this day and I wasn't the one at fault. Instead of hoping for this kid to suffer, why don't you instead pray for the victims family to find forgiveness and for both parties to find peace?

Wow! I've always appreciated your humor, and valued your approach on most topics, but that's over the top.

I don't use blue font...and I've been WAY WORSE, dead serious. :matrix:

Again, would having his license make this any more forgivable? Secondly, have you ever driven without a license? With an expired license? Expired tags? Driven 5 mph over the speed limit? Other than the obvious point that if he was following the law to a T, he would never be there to cause the accident, how would having had his license make this accident any more avoidable? It was an unfortunate accident, not a blatantly intentional act to cause harm, or even a grossly irresponsible act like driving under the influence. You and I have both done something equally as offensive behind the wheel of a car and fortunately escaped without incident.

Great post Chris. I am dumbfounded at the big emphasis place on him ad his license. Is it the license or the death? Has it bn handled in court of law? Well to hell with public opinion. As has been said we all hv been far from perfect whether driving or just in life stfu ppl and get off your high horse. The kid is on a redemption path and I for one wish him the best.
