'17 MI WR Donovan Peoples-Jones

Underclassman Eval

STRENGTHS: Rangy wide receiver with the ability to run away from defenders. Possesses an explosive first step and the foot quickness to separate in man coverage. Savvy kid who finds soft spots in zone. Has big, natural hands and the body control to make difficult catches. Does not shy away from contact in the run game. Possesses tremendous above the head ball skills.

AREAS OF IMPROVEMENT: Must polish up route running, especially intermediate patterns. Needs to add some bulk to his ample frame.

BOTTOM LINE: Peoples-Jones has a very good combination of size, speed and toughness. He's a legit playmaker who is a threat to take it the distance every time he touches the ball. With added bulk and route running refinement, he should only get better.

Well, yeah, but also because MSU has become more of a factor regionally, nationally for that matter. Whatever the reason is fairly irrelevant, the fact is there has been a pretty even split in recent history. Harbaugh may reverse that trend, but that remains to be seen. Sparty isn't just going to fold and concede at this point, nor should they. They have created a presence for themselves near the top of the Big10 standings.

According to a report from SEC Country, the former Gators QB told the media at the NFL Combine on Thursday that he believes he could have replicated that 2015 production with the SEC East champions if given the opportunity.

“I believe that I could’ve,” he said. “I don’t think it was a matter of competition. I think it was a matter of me playing well and throwing it to the right guy with certain looks.”

Jeff Driskel believes he could've thrown for 4,000 yards at Florida last season
