Those are crazy numbers for a high school receiver after 8 games. Over 100 yds receiving, almost 2 tds, with an average of about 6 receptions per game. Not sure how many HS kids putting up a much better stat line than that after 8 games.

Officially credited with 290 yards on 10 catches.

Murphy's stats over the past 6 games: 39 receptions for 1,079 yards (27.7 avg) & 15 TDs.

I'm not surprised by the stats..looking at Jordan's junior season tape it was clear he was a steal. I've said it before, he may turn out to be better than Tee...they had similar stats as Juniors, but one is rated a 5 star and the other a 3 star. You wouldn't see a gap by simply looking at tape. Props to the coaching staff for recognizing talent and recruiting him hard before anyone else.

Murphy is every bit a 4 star. Great player. But Tee can do everything he can plus he's 6'5 and runs past everybody.

But I will say this... Murphy fits what we do very well.

Glad to have him.

True, but Tee's team runs a wing-t and if they didn't have him they would not throw it hardly at all. I agree Murphy looks to be very underrated though.

Murphy caught 10 passes for a season-high 290 yards and three touchdowns Friday night in Hattiesburg’s 49-14 victory over Pascagoula (Miss.) High School, posting more than 200 receiving yards for the third time in the past five games. He also returned four punts for 50 yards and added a 15-yard kickoff return.

Bump. I took your advice. My family and I will be coming to live with you now since the bookie owns my house now. I didn't need functioning thumbs either. You can type and do most things with just a pointer and a ring finger.
