I was always high on him and Chandler. We are set at RB right now, but it would be amazing to end this class by adding Cam Akers and Lamont Wade! I was really hoping to get AJ Terrell but Lamont Wade would be a great backup plan. We also may land a top 250 (Rivals) offensive guard from Mallard Creek, North Carolina, which is the same school as Marquez North. He was committed to USCjr, but has decommitted and now has them, us and Virginia Tech, in his top 3. I think we finish strong and very well may end up in the top five even with the recent decommits. Those decommitments may have been to make room for better players.

I'm pretty sure a top 5 class is out of reach. Although additions of Cam Akers, Lamont Wade & T.J. Moore would probably solidify a top 8-10 class. That rough estimation would be based on Final Team Rankings.

We probably end up with T.J. Moore, Shanon Reid, Yusuf Corker & a RB. I will be very surprised if the rb were Akers. We've seen just about anything is possible with Butch & co so I'll certainly hope.

Very impressed with Butch & co on winning the Trey Smith battle!

Murphy's bump on rivals was well deserved.

Tennessee got a HUGE steal with this kid. He's way more talented than amari Rodgers IMO, and closer to tee Higgins than some realize. He really reminds me of amari cooper with how smooth he is as a route runner already. Byrd, Callaway, Johnson, Williams, Murphy, Jones, and Fant are going to be a good freshman sophomore class.

Nothing against you at all, don't take it personally but we've been saying this about our WR corps the last 5 years and they never end up being what we say they will.

They forget to mention the coaching, development, scheme :)

WRs took a step forward this season though. They turned that corner in 2nd half of FL

We need this kid. Reminds me a lot of Malone. I have a feeling we're gonna hear some teams trying to sway him late. Easily one of my favorite 3-5 commits in this class.

Murphy is a smooth route-runner and has very consistent hands, something that will be a major asset as he fights for playing time early in his career in Knoxville.
