It's one thing to lose recruits. It's another for recruits to lie to the coaches, get the media hyping up a commitment, and then commit elsewhere.

You're right. It's embarrassing for the program and the coaching staff.

Honestly, if we want to keep up the high level of recruiting and comepeting for SEC/ National titles over the next few years then we need to first land both Chandler and Akers to fill the hole at running back with Hurd and Kamara leaving. Then finish out the class with Smith,Eze, Foster, another cornerback (Wade hopefully) , and yes of course Gibbs. I don't know what happened with him he seemed so high on being a Vol especially after Warrior committed.

That's a good point, but I'm sure there are other places, Duke for instance, that would be better than playin for Muschamp

Usc's roster isn't so good right now and he has a teammate, a fellow OL, who's committed to the cocks. Not a bad option to stay home and play with your HS teammate.

You don't go to SC to win at this point over UT. I think kids wqnt to play with women and think it is too easy to get in trouble and kicked off the team at UT.

Head scratcher. Hopefully butch has bigger fish on the line. Seems like we are either "Missing" on several recruits or its because we have better prospects lined up. I'm hoping for the later. Hopefully with a 10+ win season, we can open some eyes and watch the recruiting train go FULL STEAM AHEAD

C'mon, guys. We slow played him because we weren't sure we had a spot for him, and he saw opportunity elsewhere. Good for him, and good for us. We're stacked at his position, and we need other players so much more.
