'17 NC QB Will Jones

Yep. I know it's preferable to take a QB in every class but I don't think it'll hurt us by not taking one this class. We will have redshirt freshman next year and the following year. I think our QB situation is in good shape, regardless of this recruiting cycle!

I've been thinking the same thing. With Dormady likely the starter next year and Jones still on the roster and with JG redshirting it seems that if we can land Lawrence or Emory Jones (or both) for 2018 then we can afford to go this year without signing a QB. But what do I know. Anyone have any thoughts on this? Maybe we aren't in as good a shape as I thought with Lawrence or Emory Jones. I know I read that Jones was planning to commit to Tennessee at the Spring game until he received a tOSU offer.

I think Emory is trending towards OSU. Lawrence is kind of unknown.

I'm pretty sure another highly rated DT QB that OSU was high on recently decommitted from Baylor, so that could potentially be a factor as well.
