Got to say Butch is doing all he can to land Trey. Hyams now saying that Smith is a UT lean. Maybe getting an answer this weekend is being unreasonable but it would be sweet.

In all fairness though, she is alumni, and was already working at the NCAA, so she has qualifications and history here. It's not like some moves that are done at other places.

If they are anything like me and my sister when we were younger, he will probably be as far from UT as possible.
Hopefully they are more Leave it to Beaver.

Had to LOL at this one. We're buddies now but growing up with my sisters and brothers was a different animal:no:

Ok, so Trey is:
the #1 player in the nation (and 5*) according to ESPN,
the #5 player in the nation (and 5*) according to 247,
the #20 player in the nation (and 5*) according to Scout,
and the #33 OT in the nation (and 4*) according to Rivals.

Someone please tell me how the 247Composite has him as a 4 star and the #52 in the nation? How in the world does that average out? I'm starting to doubt the 247Composite score now, previously the only rating I took much faith in.

EDIT: He's the #33 OT per rivals..

This is why stars don't matter. One of the most high profile guys in the class and there are still major discrepancies between sites about his ratings. How do you think that translates to a kid that hasn't been to every camp in the country? These recruiting sites sometimes have about as much info about some kids that we do.

Rivals doesn't have him at #33. That is for his position. Not his national ranking. That is why his composite is low. Rivals has missed the boat.

It's more of an indictment on Rivals. Kinda like when Tom Lungbill insisted on rating Kahlil McKenzie lower than the other recruiting sites without a legit reason.
