I won't condemn anyone for trying to make a better living for their family. The post was directed at the OP because he seemed to think it was set in stone that if Smith's sister were offered more by Bama, then they were both gone. I was just kind of wound and let loose. Maybe the lesson you learned benefitted you later. Anyway, people move around all the time for more money. But, many people also stay where they are because it is where they want to be.

I know I was just playing along. My move had 0 to do with money. It was all about being at home. 8-5 has been nice for a change.

Hey Bassmaster, ever heard of a guy named Jim Rivers? You mentioned Guntersville Lake, just wondering if you have heard the name before...most of the smallmouth records were in Pickwick Lake.

As far as Cheddars, gotta try the ribs, and thank me later.

Well he is located in a very central spot to get to a lot of good lakes. He's probably busy pancaking fools most of the time but I'll bet he has a hobby. Why not fishing?

Actually you said UT needs to go ahead and pay her more money and give her a better job because other schools were probably trying to reel her away. I said she's probably happy where she is considering her alma mater is UT. Guess that makes me a prick for assuming she is excited to be working at the school she went to and probably wouldn't be reeled away easily. Not very adult like to start name calling just because someone disagrees with you.

Ok, he is legend in that area and has/had every record for smallmouth. He made/makes his own lures and a lot of professional fishermen still use his. He hasn't been in tournaments in years and just does fishing tours. Rich people and celebrities pay him to take them fishing. Tough life.
