'17 TN RB Ty Chandler (UT signee)

Yes. He's not being recruited to UT as a QB. They think his build won't fit for his frame by the time he graduates & have decided to recruit him as an ATH. He could play TE, LB, or maybe some other position by the time he was to get here if we get him.

Having said that, he plays QB right now in high school along with I believe DE as well on the other side of the ball. Take a look around the recruiting sites. They all have him listed as an ATH/TE now & 247 Sports also has him as a QB.

He's a TE all the way, ive seen the kid play multiple times.

I always thought Rivals had the worst evaluations and most importantly, incredibly stupid rankings on talented players.

I used to go by Rivals rankings. There's a reason I have a 247 subscription and go by their rankings now. I love Hubbs and Fortenberry, but aside from them Rivals isn't much better than Scout.

It was mentioned in this thread that Ty runs a lawncare business in the summer. So he probably didn't attend any rivals camps for them to make a "proper" ($$) evaluation of his skills.
