'17 TN WR Princeton Fant (UT commit 6/18/16)

You know you're concerned a little. Don't deny it

Most kids are band wagoners who only pull for teams that win. They don't give a crap about Tennessee's history or our recent success. If we go to Atlanta and win 10+ games, our instate talent will come here cause they want to see improvement from us on the field. Lucky for Butch, he has a talented roster to do that.

Lol some of you need to go smoke a blunt. He said he wanted an offer from FSU. They may offer, and he may commit, but right now, all that has been said is that he wants an offer. That's it. There is absolutely no reason to believe anything other than that we lead here.

Except him and Gray looked like they were both about to commit. Now, Gray states FSU leads and they both would like to play together in college. Those things usually don't happen except both these kids are really good. it is not like one is helping the other one to get to D1 power 5. They both stand on their own merits. With that said, if he gets an offer from FSU and with where Gray is presently, the tea leaves read some FSU. With that written, of course we lead with Fant now. But, if he gets an FSU offer, seems like he wants it so if Fant wants it they can get their wants together and play happily together. Sounds like a weird 70's song.

If you read the entire article, he states TN is his top pick. But it's no surprise that these kids want offers, as it is an ego booster

In current order, who are the 3 or 4 strongest UT instate leans?

"Rutger said the Vols still are the team to beat.

Theo Jackson really likes Tennessee.

After that, Maleik Gray and Prince Fant."

Most people not just kids.

How many of you were Chicago Bulls fans in the 90s?

These two better power their team to a State Championship!

2 seniors that are top 250 propects on the same squad...

While I get what you're saying, it is much further to go to a beach from Tally.

I guess you can swim in those Marianna caves though.

Sit on the sand dunes of Saint Marks preserve. Probably wont see another person all day. Regardless of how far it is, it's a hell of a lot closer than Smyrna, TN. A trip to the beach from Tallahassee can be a spur of the moment decision. Not 6 months worth of planning like TN.

Very few schools sit on the beach. 30 miles to the Gulf isn't a bad deal.

My post wasn't intended to be taken very seriously, more of a tongue-in-cheek comment about considering Tallahassee to have beaches. I'm pretty sure most people who have ever been there would call it a swamp town well before they'd call it a beach town.

Decided we wanted a beach trip last night, bought some cheap plane tickets and reserved a room for 2 weeks from now. Not "spur of the moment" like we'll be there in 30 minutes, but sure not 6 months of planning.

Guess some people still think it's 1950. Not really hard to get to a beach these days. Went to Central Florida in 2005 with the intentions of moving. Came back to East Tennessee after 2 hurricanes plowed into the area. A lot of people thinks it would be awesome to live on the beach, but it has its pitfalls as well. To each is their own. And I highly doubt either kid is beach shopping. I think it may have more to do with the same guy that 'mentored' Jalen Ramsey.

Tallahassee = South Georgia

Regardless they can still get to the beach much much more easily compared to knox
