Yeah Manziel was good but most of his plays were made outside the pocket...you are at a big disadvantage if you can't see over your OL and have to roll out to make the throw on almost every pass play

Okay that's a little more like it...I think there are only 3 NFL QBs under 6'2" so it is definitely rare to have success when you have to roll out to see down field

As for the quarterback position a new name surfaced on Thursday night as Mike DeBord visited and offered Texas quarterback Will McBride. McBride is currently committed to Memphis and is headed to Memphis this weekend for an official visit. McBride is an early enrollee and the Vols are hoping to somehow convince McBride to make it to campus at some point in the next 72 hours.

We've talked to McBride and he told us he will try to make it on campus.

If McBride sticks with the Tigers, Tennessee will continue to pursue Hendon Hooker. The Virginia Tech commitment could make a trip to Knoxville in January.

1) Utah has been to two BCS games since our last one.
2) Utah has beaten Bama since the last time we did...and they've only played them once.

3) Our current 3 year starter was once committed to AZ State, which is no better than Utah.

This qb recruiting cycle is a complete fiasco and the staff clearly had no real plan for what the hell they were doing. Terrible look begging a memphis committ to make an emergency visit.

A high school QB looking at two years of QD and four years of JG might be thinking twice about coming to UT this year.

We had hunter Johnson committed. The No.2 QB. What do you mean we had no plan?
