'17 VA DT/ATH Eric Crosby (UT signee)

4. New Tennessee commit Eric Crosby of Virginia Beach (Va.) Ocean Lakes had the best first step of any interior defensive linemen. He’s not going to blow you away with height, but his get-off, strength and pass-rushing moves from the inside make him a problem for those trying to stop him.

Didn't the guy from the Vagina Tech board say his first step is a problem. Hmm.. who to believe..

At the US Army National Combine in January, Crosby was one of almost 700 participants. Weighing in at 6'1.3" & 308 lbs, he still recorded a 30" vertical. And while his best 40 & shuttle times were unremarkable (5.43 and 4.84 respectively), he demonstrated his upper-body explosiveness by finishing 4th in the power push-up with 774.6 lbs of force exerted.

Weighed in at 6-2, 297 at The Opening Charlotte last Sunday. Recorded a 5.24 40, 4.73 shuttle, 37.0' powerball toss and a 29.5" vertical.

"Also caught up with Eric Crosby who has been in town since Friday. All things are solid there."

Saw in the tweets thread that Crosby is squatting 525. Won't take him long to be in Vols 600 club. Can't wait for him to get on campus.

Rivals is a joke compared to the other services which are pretty much a joke as well. 247 is best but have no clue how coaches dealt with evals before the services.

I've lost all faith in rivals. I was very skeptical after they ranked PW the 19th receiver in the country. But now dropping Crosby out of the 250 and to a 3 star, dropping Gibbs to 144 overall, and having Trey Smith out of the 250...idk what they're smoking over there, but I'm 100% 24/7 Sports all the way now.
