17 VA DT Breyon Gaddy (UT commit 7/19/16)

Proof, nah ,there is none ,just a case of the butthurt.

Back to the Gaddy brother, funny Clemson isn't actively recruiting them at the moment. Sounds like a make believe battle to pretend something is won.

What's funny is your smug attitude when the only player you got that actually hurt may not end up Clemson come NSD. Declaring recruiting victories in July is like bragging about being ahead after the first quarter. You should close up shop and go back to your irrelevant program's board and circle jerk to July recruiting.

Yep. Glad we cut loose ol Hunter after the Elite 11 Performance. Man that stunk.:)

Bennett has the frame to add plenty of more good weight in college, plus as has been mentioned, age-wise he really should only be going into his junior season of high school. I think he'll easily carry 285-290 pretty early on in his career.

I stand corrected! We have a great start to the DL class. Gaddy and Hansard would make it a dang fine one.

Crosby is closer but right now they are a little undersized. Granted they are in high school.

The one Gaddy won't be contributing at all for a while until he gets his weight down.

Even KMac was hindered by his weight.

I would rather grow a DT than have to shrink one.

Definetly easier to shrink one than grow one.

I would disagree. I would rather add weight over a year or two to a high school kid that's at 280-285 than try to change the work ethic and eating habits of a high school kid that's allowed themselves to reach 350 already.

If they have a body that can handle 350 Ibs then they are primed to be a DT already. Granted, the player obviously needs to be athletic even with his weight, but you can't always assume a kid can just add 30-40 Ibs and it not effect his speed and explosiveness.

We're in good shape. They want to commit quicker so that we help them get on track with grades. That's what I gathered from some comments from Callahan
