Yep. If we win like we should then recruiting should sort itself out. Definitely need more talent in next years class. Time will tell.

Catbone is negative from time to time, but I like the guy. He throws a funny or positive post out there pretty often too. A lot more lately, actually. Could we finally be bringing him over to the side of positiveness? :)

But are they waiting to see how our season plays out? Looks to me like a lot of our top targets aren't waiting. They are leaning and or committing elsewhere. I get the feeling how this season plays out isn't going to impact the class nearly as much as some think.

You could be right Leb. Butch could win big but will still need to flip a few by NSD. That's tough stuff. Could definitely help for 2018 though.

I find a wait and see approach does wonders for my mental health. If there's one thing I've learned to trust, is that the coaching staff has the ability to pull big names out of thin air at the last minute that may not be on our radars. I'm not saying it isn't disconcerting, don't misunderstand me. I'm saying it's not time to panic.

I agree, but we also have the ability to take some guys we wouldn't before who we can RS and develop. Niehaus comes to mind as a good example.

I'm not in panic mode. Recruiting is 24/7/365. If you're in wait and see mode, you're falling behind.
