'18 AL DE Coynis Miller

Affect what? I don’t care where these guys sign i’ll be at the games rooting them on. Kinda kid that could turn into an absolute animal with Coaching. Potential is extremely high and he’s hungry. So wherever he goes I’m excited to see his development.

You just seem to let people get under your skin sometimes on here and it sours your opinion on certain things. Maybe I’m mistaken.

I may be misinterpreting here, but it seems like you get snarky anytime someone asks your opinion on the kid. Why is that? Or am I reading too much into your short comments?

He's one of Breaker's kids. Last staff wouldn't offer him while he was catching D1 offers from a lot of other staffs.

BB was not amused.

Hilarious that posters couldn’t see the writing on the wall. Clemson, Bama, Auburn, Georgia, Michigan And LSU all had offered but we wouldn’t. They said I had an agenda. But the kid is visiting immediately after getting an offer. Guess it’s all Pruitt on this one too. 😎😎😎😎

Why didn’t we offer? Too good of a player for butch system?

Read the beginning of the thread. They had all the BS answers for sorry Thigpen. Dude just wasn’t doing his damn job. Saying we had Lawless, Litaker and Emerson in the fold doesn’t make you not go after another top D-Lineman when we need all the help we can get.

Hey BB. Since we are talking about Miller... From a coach point if view..... What do you like about him?

Yeah, I know the whole background. Just not sure why he gives seemingly snarky, smartass remarks when people ask about him now. Like he's trying to prove a point to everyone about how right he was. Not everyone agreed with the former staff for passing on him.

No they were lazy and scared to conmpete for real top notch guys. Some legacies were easy to sway and they got an. If a kid took real work then they backed off or made excuses as to why they didn't get them. Also did a lot of blaming others for their failures.

Is it an OV or UOV for him?

Since he's not signing until NSD, I'm hoping it's an UOV and we can get him back on campus in January.

OV to UT this weekend...

THE SKINNY: The Auburn commit quickly scheduled a visit with Tennessee after Pruitt reached out late last week. The 6-foot-2, 300-pound defensive tackle holds an impressive offer list. He’s been committed to the Tigers since October. Tennessee’s DL coach Chris Rumph visited Miller in-home earlier this week.

They do have last minute act registration in some cases. Entirely possible he just needed to improve a score and got in last minute. Bet the staff brings him back on campus in jan

To be honest I am glad he isn't here this week. I am surprised we have so many OVs coming that aren't signing until feb. later visits are better imo

Agreed. Will be much more personal later on. CJP is a closer and will be better able to close in that setting

Our staff is building momentum for a huge NSD in February IMO. They will go on n lock in the better current commits for EE's and signings next week. But there will be many quality to elite guys waiting until later to sign to see how the staff changes go at the better schools as well as to enjoy the OV's. That gives them more time to vet the schools that have jumped in later in the process.
