The same reason I wore pants in the summer heat in drum corp, even though we often practiced on pavement.

"Omg it's so hot we are wearing shorts"

*3 of 6 hours go by*...... Their legs are burnt, the sun is blistering hot, and they feel sick

While thats true, you can just tell. Hurd is not on the level of Henry, Fournette and Chubb. But he is still a very good back.

So LSU throws a quick out to a WR and he gets a big gain. Why is it that other teams can do that and have success yet when we do it it fails almost every time?

Auburn's defense is TERRIBLE. LSU has nearly 400 yards rushing in three quarters, with yards per carry averages, among all those who have run the ball for them, of 12, 9.3, 5.1, 105. and 14.

I had this same conversation about Hurd, Fournett, and Chubb last year. It was with a lot of the same people and many are now seeing the light.

Hurd is a beast, but he isn't even a top 3 RB in the league. This is the year of the RB in the SEC.

Thought Jovon Robinson was supposed to be a stud for Auburn, where is he? The experts putting the all-SEC teams couldnt have whiffed harder on the guys from Auburn....Jeremy Johnson, Carl Lawson, Robinson.... none of those guys are doing squat.

I know they have better lines but it's pretty obvious watching these backs run that clearly Leonard , Henry, and Chubb are ahead of Jalen Hurd. Then a jumble

To be fair to Lawson, he's been hurt for the past 2 games.

yes I know who he is and know the difference in what they're working with. Easier to be an elite runner when you don't start your run by dodging tacklers in the backfield
