"alabama was good," griffin said. "they are all about the same. I just have to find the place where i can play and feel comfortable. I feel good about all these places because i feel like i can play anywhere. It's just where i feel comfortable."
"i still feel good about tennessee," griffin said. "i just need time to figure out where i really want to go. Tennessee offers the same great things that it did when i was there last month. They let me know how much they want me."
griffin hosted tennessee head coach jeremy pruitt last week and that visit went very well. It was the first time his parents got to visit with the first year vol head coach. "it was great," griffin said. "he explained his defense and told me how i would fit in the defense. He made a good impression in front of my parents so everything was good."
griffin will host defensive backs coach terry fair and other members of the tennessee staff coming up this week. The relationship between the longtime nfl corner and the newly minted 5-star grows by the day. "i feel like if i did end up at tennessee, he would take good care of me," griffin said. "he's a good guy and i appreciate him a lot."
griffin visited alabama this weekend with several other defensive backs, 5-star isaac taylor stuart and eddie smith, both tennessee targets were also in tuscaloosa. The amount of defensive backs didn't bother griffin who said the pitch was simple. "they are trying to do the same thing i'm doing," griffin said. "it was like that at every other school. Alabama lost six defensive backs and that i'd have the opportunity to play."
there will be no visit next weekend as griffin will just relax at home while he does a lot of thinking. "i don't know what i want to do that," griffin said. "i have a few more days or just over a week. I'm going to talk to my parents and figure it out."
