The funny thing is, if he doesn't commit today, why does it mean that Butch lost him? There could be any number of reasons why he does not commit today. Heck, has he even said that he would? No he hasn't. But people from other sites posted that he could do something soon and when someone suggested a date, everyone jumped on it.

Or maybe it is just that fans find it easier to blame Butch JOnes that congratulate another coach or program.

Train is painfully negative towards our recruiting efforts. He has some 3rd grade rationalization for why, but simply put, he's a miserable person.

He has fantasies that everyone is miserable and does what he can to encourage it. It is what drives him forward. You won't hear from him if there is good news today. So a commitment would be a double boom.

Nothing groundbreaking, but it was his response a few moments ago when asked if Martinez should be on commit watch today. FWIW Callahan isn't one to take away from the recruit's moment, so this could mean good news.

Disagree about higher. We were unable to land a legit QB last year and landing one this year is a must. Chandler and Smith are the same caliber of boom but that's it.

In my opinion of course. Not a factual statement
