Since you've already scouted all these guys, you should make a new thread with your recruit rankings for the 18 class.
Nah. I haven't watched enough tape to do that. What I will say is I was impressed by the following players at the Army game:
1. WR Jordyn Adams (North Carolina commit) - very impressive and fluid athlete at the WR position. Didn't take but a few seconds watching him to tell he's a future pro.
2. CB Anthony Cook (Texas commit) - as I said earlier looked like the best CB on the field.
3. OT Brey Walker (Oklahoma commit) - mammoth of a human being with surprising athleticism. Was the most physically impressive offensive lineman.
4. QB J.T. Daniels (USC commit) - looked like the best QB in the game. I was impressed by how fluid his throwing motion was and how quick his release is. Also showed solid arm strength and accuracy.
Since you've already scouted all these guys, you should make a new thread with your recruit rankings for the 18 class.
Not impressed in the least bit. I'm getting a Jimmy Clausen vibe from him. Overrated.
What you think of trevor lawerence?
He's going to Clemson. They've done a very good job of molding QBs.
There is no timing and rhythm in and All-Star game.
He short armed many throws. That was a result of him being unsure about the route and recivers intentions.
Jimmy Clausen was a very good college QB. Had his moments in the pros as well.
Trevor Lawrence will put up crazy numbers at Clemson. Look at his film. His footwork and how he sets his feet. Very good throwing mechanics and very strong arm.
He'll be NFL player one day
five-star senior cornerback tyson campbell of american heritage high school in plantation, fla., received a visit thursday from new tennessee coach jeremy pruitt and three of his assistant coaches, sources told govols247 on thursday night.
A source said vols cornerbacks coach terry fair, co-defensive coordinator chris rumph and charles kelly, tennessee's safeties coach and special teams coordinator, joined pruitt in meeting with the 6-foot-2.5, 180-pound campbell.
Campbell is scheduled to take an official visit to alabama this weekend, and he went to georgia last weekend on his first official visit.
He recently told 247sports during his time at the u.s. Army all-american bowl in san antonio that miami, clemson, georgia and alabama were "the main schools coming at me the hardest." but he added that tennessee was "trying to talk to me," and lsu and ohio state also had been in contact with him. Auburn also visited campbell this week and still is hoping to host him on a visit.
The vols haven't been mentioned as one of the top contenders for campbell, but they're currently battling for one of his final visits leading up to national signing day.
