Jax is cool. I love all those bars that look down at the beach. Of course, I'm sure most beaches have that, but I really enjoyed my one day in Jax or what I can remember

Palm Beach doesn't have that. It sucks....like Gainesville.

Not anymore. The FHSAA has been all over this program for awhile. Remember Cowart choosing Barn over Florida?

He picked Muschamp over Fla. Cowart has almost left the team twice since arriving.

Still a very pro UF school. Will be interesting to see if FSU and UM can get in the door now that Callahan has stepped down.

Yea Gainesville sucks, it actually made Ocala decent in comparison

Ocala sucks too, but you are right. Not as bad as Gainesville. Which to me, makes it even worse, Yes, Gainesville is land locked...like all? SEC school, but it could have so much more going for it....but it doesn't even try.

It literally just sucks ass.

I had the (privelage?) of being there in 2001. Travis Stephens!!! While I'll say it was loud....that particular night I think the UT fans were just as loud as the UF fans combined. We sat in front of the orange (if you can call it orange....maybe tangerine? wall) had to look at the stupid blue wall all night.

Ok...to be honest, didn't look at too many walls at all that night. Between watching Travis dismantle them and looking at the scoreboard (and of course screaming my lungs out)...I didn't see too much more.

Didn't Travis Stephens have like 240 yards or something crazy like that. He ran through Gators and by them all night. I think he ran over Marquez Manual in my favorite play of the game. All while doing it, in an ass sucking stadium in Gainesville, which, btw SUCKS ASS

Travis put that game on his shoulders and willed UT to that win. Defense gave up 30+ points. Travis said..."IDGAF...we're winning this damn thing".

and yes.....Gainseville SUCKS. It cannot be said enough IMO.

This is a recruit that I can comfortably say was going to Auburn if his mom wouldn't sign off on Oregon. Called it years ago and it happened. Muschamp was the excuse that Florida fans use to feel better.

So.......baldbiker......was thinking about visiting Gainesville. You got an opinion about it?

VOLFANINMO, BALDBIKER is head of both the Gainesville Chamber of Commerce and the Gainesville Tourism Department, so yes, yes he does have an opinion about your upcoming trip. GO BIG ORANGE

HG, isn't Armwood a feeder school to FL?

Byron Cowart was the #1 player in the nation from Armwood High a few years ago and he ended up at Auburn. I went to school there my senior year and there are several Gator fans, but there is a Tennessee presence, as well. Also, Orlando has as many UT fans as Gator fans.

While I feel you on the Armwood thing, Florida is still a major player there just not as much as they were in 2012 and prior.

While many Tennesseean's are in Orlando, that is still Florida State and Florida territory.

Prospects like Tyson Campbell, Warren Thompson, who visited last weekend, Wonnum and Harrison may be strong leans elsewhere, but the staff isn’t going to let up until they’re told no.

They got that very answer from Johncarlo Valentin (a Baylor commit) earlier this week, so they moved on and went and gauged the interest in Richard Gouraige. They also visited long shots like Joshua Moore and Malcolm Lamar. No stone is going unturned.

Deciding between Vols and Bama for Feb 2 OV. Visiting UF this weekend. Good relationship with Rump and Pruitt. Apparently it's no longer a layup for FSU to land him.

Reading earlier in the thread, and playing time was big for him. He liked a lot about UT, and even though it was the last staff, he said he had a lot of convo's with RG, who remains.

Don't want to jinx us, but we might have a legit chance here.
