Land 3 of those and we’re at around 84 scholarships. We might stand pat at that point and see who hits the portal in the spring.
I don't think we're done. I think that 84 total includes our entire '23 class, but some of them won't be here until summer. That leaves room for more transfers in now, and we'll have more leave between now and summer enrollment.Even if we’re at 84 as we’ve discussed that’s a fluid number, with guys graduating and more to transfer out, I expect these 2-3 guys to be it until spring, then there will be a new in/out flux of players.
As I said this morning, Florida is cautiously optimistic here. I think it comes down to the Gators and Vols.
Also, based off my conversations with sources throughout the industry, it sounds as if Campbell has yet to inform the school he’s going to. His circle has been radio silent.
This one is largely about NIL. A trusted FSU source told me, “They (the Seminoles) were a little concerned with how NIL centric he was when he visited.”
Like UF, Tennessee has some confidence as well, so that’s why I believe Campbell is heading to the SEC.
I’m giving Tennessee the very slight edge right now, but this one could go down to the wire considering that NIL is the major factor here.
Offensive tackle is where Tennessee needs the most help right now. You could say the same thing about Florida, so we will see where the Orlando native ends up.
I do not anticipate this going Florida's way after several conversations with sources. If it does, it would be somewhat of a surprise.

Carvin to Coach E: “Coach, you have all these great frosh coming in on the OL plus these stud tackle transfers, do you really need me back? I’d like to test the NFL.”
Coach E: “ I understand and certainly see your point. Thanks for your time as a Vol. Good luck!”
