Yes, I know he was a 4 star, but despite what the profile says, the consensus at the time was that he was a 4 star safety (or athlete), and not a 4 star QB. Many teams were after JJ...but nobody, UT included...recruited him as a QB.
What position will this guy play after he is moved from QB? I'm thinking the staff will have him playing in the secondary or as a WR by next fall. Jennings 2.0
I used the word fanciful in one post and you still haven't recovered...history? :hi:
History? Please... We have probably had a conversation, but I don't recall it. If we did, it wasn't particularly important to me, so don't take my comments as reflecting any past emotional trauma. You aren't that important to me and I am sure I am not that important to you.
But I read your comments and I do think your initial comment was over the top as you sometimes tend to be. If you didn't mean for it to be so definitive, that's fine. I can't know what you mean, just what you say.
Got the vibe that you were on the other side of that Sheriron Jones fence. Some were confident that he would switch positions before transferring for a myriad number of reasons including "VFL HELL YEAH" and "He already transferred, he won't do it again". I don't think my opinion that the SJ's of the world won't give up on their dream of playing quarterback just to stay with this program is "over the top". Not with talents like D4H, Nationdom and TerryPedigo ready at a moment's notice. :wink2: Of course we'll still recruit the talented JJ type athletes with the promise of allowing them to play QB...but the real options at signalcallers will be here to play, backup or transfer.
