Good for this young man hopefully he keeps developing. Buford is a great highschool program. You people kill me with your negativity. Go vols!

Yet another "guru" who thinks he knows more than our coaching staff.

color me unimpressed.

common sense actually matters when you post on message boards.

You saw the game last night, right? Our coaches recruit awful players so when our good players go down we suck.

"It's crazy how this day has went," Richardson said. "I've known since I was a freshman that I wanted to play at Tennessee. It's a great place and the people are so passionate about their team. I just love everything about Tennessee."

"I love coach Martinez," Richardson said. "He is always keeping up with me and checking in to see how I'm doing. He's a great coach and you can tell he gets a lot out of his players."

"The game didn't turn out like Tennessee had hoped, but Neyland was really loud," Richardson said. "When that place gets going, it gets really loud. The fans are amazing because they love their team. It's just a great atmosphere and I can't wait to play there."

Doesn't look like a bad player at all. Disappointing that the kid from Chattanooga is likely Clemson bound but this kid could develop into a solid player.

Come on, people. Today is one of the biggest moments in this young man's life. And, the best that some of you can come up with is that he is only a mid level 3 star. I think that the coaching staff has demonstrated repeatedly that they can identify talent when they see it. Can we not wait until it plays out in about 14 months from now on 2018 signing day, or better yet, wait until we see what kind of player he is in our program before we try to predetermine his fate?

Yes, that's why we we unable to replace critical starters to beat Florida or Georgia.......oh....wait.

You use two bad teams to make your terrible point, and one that lost to Vanderbilt as an example? You must be a smart guy...

stars actually matter especially when replacing injured players.

Thank you, I am. What about taking aTm to 2OT on the road? Are they terrible too? Default lies with you, not with me.

I've always looked pst star ratings but you're right as far as injuries are concerned. 3* will be good after 2-3 years on campus but 5* can come in and make plays as soon as they step on campus for an injured player.
However, this guy has a long way to go before he's even on campus

Seriously. I see that he's listed here as an ATH and DB/WR does have crossover potential. It doesn't seem like there was a lot of discussion in this thread prior to the commitment so I'm wondering where the coaches see this guy/where he sees himself at the NCAA level.

Wahoo! Yipee! and Boom!
Another three star committed. If anybody still reckons star ratings don't mean anything just look at what happened yesterday, 10-15-2016) to us in Neyland.
You don't beat Bengal Tigers with bobcats.
