" Tennessee, Florida, Auburn, Georgia, South Carolina, Notre Dame and NC State have been hitting me up constantly. They are on me hard," he said. " They are telling me how I can come in and make an impact and how they need pass rushers and how their guys are graduating and there are opportunities open."
Ojulari is hoping this summer will enlighten him further as he plans to visit each of the aforementioned schools. Although a plan is in motion to hit up each of the programs, he is still working on the dates for those trips.
"June 17 I am going to Tennessee, June 2nd probably going Georgia for a camp," he said. "Florida I am going to go sometime in June. I am trying to get to Notre Dame for the first time maybe around June 23rd."
The South's 12th ranked defensive end will hope to cut down his list soon after these visits. Although he has not visited some of these schools previously, he does have an idea on who could make the list in a few months.
"Maybe Florida, Tennessee, Georgia and Notre Dame," would make the cut, according to Ojulari. However, this list is not even close to be final. The Marietta playmaker tells Scout that these are the schools that currently have his attention, but that could change. Why have these schools generated a bit more buzz?
Florida: "All the coaches are hitting me up, [defensive line] coach [Chris] Rumph, coach Mac [Gators head coach Jim McElwain], the whole coaching staff is hitting me up. The Director of Player Personnel [Drew Hughes], all of the coaches. Their linebackers coach [Tim Skipper], everybody. It makes me feel like a top priority there," he explained. "Coach Rumph tells me I'm the number one guy and I need to get there for a visit. Coach Mac said they were at a coaches' meeting and my name kept popping up and I am a big priority for them."
Tennessee: "They have been recruiting me hard too. They have made me a priority too. With [Derek] Barnett gone they do not have the premier defensive end for their team right now. Their spots are open and you can come in as a freshman and get an opportunity," stated Ojulari. "I have been there for a spring game and they have a great atmosphere, great coaches. They are telling me the truth. [Defensive line] coach [Brady] Hoke, I feel like I can develop a great relationship with him on and off the field. They also have good facilities and all that. It was a good place."
Georgia: "I think the coaching staff is making movement. [UGA Head] coach Kirby [Smart] told me that I am also a big priority for them and that they are trying to keep in the state," he said about the in-state program. "They are trying the hardest to keep me here. They love how I pass rush too and they said I can fit in as an outside linebacker too. Also they talked about how Lorenzo [Carter] and others are leaving after this year for the NFL and how those spots are going to be open."
Notre Dame: "They are recruiting me hard. They are hitting me up everyday. The running backs coach there sending me inspirational quotes on twitter. I really have a good relationship I just need to get up on that visit," said Ojulari. "I just want to see if this is a place I can actually fit perfectly and develop and play earlier. I know they are academic school already and I know there are opportunities to graduate in three years and get your degree."
When the time comes for Ojulari to cut his list or even make his decision, he plans to look at a few crucial factors.
"Where I can go and get a degree and where I fit," he stated. "I want to make sure it feels like home and I am comfortable around there for the next four years."
Ojulari plans to study either architecture or business in college.
