Honestly, Anderson doesn't project well in a 4-3, too light in the britches for a 4-3 DE but perfect for a 3-4 OLB. If he chose Tn, he would need 25 lbs to put his hand down. That is why you see mostly 3-4 D after him.
I think Anderson would be great in a 4-3 at either End or OLB. TBH, if we are insistent on running a 4-2-5 we better make sure we have LB's that are big enough and physical enough. I can't figure out all this safety conversion crap from the staff if they are going to only play 2 LB's. Just odd they seem to be getting away from what Shoop traditionally ran at PSU and Vandy.

After an anticipated quiet ‘Orange Carpet Day,’ Tennessee’s recruiting momentum picked up last weekend, as the Vols landed defensive lineman Jamarcus Chatman and a pair of Georgia running backs. Chatman, who decommitted from LSU on the heels of his UT visit, originally planned to wait until late July to commit to Tennessee, but the DL simply decided he’d found where he wanted to play and couldn’t keep his decision a secret any longer. Chatman understands that he’s very unlikely to play with his Rome teammate and best friend Ja’Quan Griffin, but he’s comfortable with that decision. He and his family love them some Tennessee. In a short period of time, Chatman has grown close with UT commits like Cade Mays and Jatavious Harris, too.
It would make sense given we recruited like 4-5 S/OLBs last class.
I think he said the defense may use more 4-3-4 than 4-2-5 during one of the early Big Orange Caravan stops, which the media mentioned in their coverage. I am going by memory here and could be wrong, but I know I thought to take it with a grain of salt. Hope that helps.
