No sir I am the poster that said we shouldn't recruit him because he choose Volleyball over football. I questioned his toughness and the masses hammered me. This board talked about Antonio Gates not playing football, his athleticism and how big of a sleeper he was. And as usual I was proved correct.

The large majority loved the sign. There were some that said he was going to be ALL-SeC.

You are plenty smart enough to know this board is going to love every recruit. Hell we have a recruit now that posters are willing to over look throwing 3 picks a game on average. It's what we do here. We refuse to the negative when it stares us in the face.

Some thought his size and athletic ability would make it possible for him to contribute.. That's about it..

I don't remember ANYONE who thought he'd be ALL-SEC.. That's just funny and I think you're exaggerating just a bit....

There were 2-3. Mostly his thread was people saying we shouldn’t count him out based on stars and a non-football background. But Bruin probably has about 15% of the posts in that thread all by himself.

He remembers it as him against everybody because he was getting backlash for a lot of his posts. But most of the backlash was because he’s a really unlikeable poster, not because everybody thought Quinn was gonna take the SEC by storm.

My favorite part of the woody Quinn stuff was after a few players were quoted as saying he was going to be good in fall camp there were a bunch of volleyball gifs of a poor kid getting spiked on that posters kept directing at me as they proclaimed how I was wrong. Pretty funny.
