You mean the Pennsylvania kid committed to the 10-2 Penn St program that is 90 miles down the road from his house?!?!? No way! What a miss! What a failure! Shut the Tennessee program down immediately!!!! Whaaaaaaa!!!! 😢😭😲😔

It must be hard for you me living rent free in your head. Anyway you slice it, its a big miss. And it just falls in line with what has happened with the 2017 class as well. Its December and the only reason our class is even ranked as high as it is is because of total commits. We arent getting that many big time recruits. Hopefully we get more but right now we only have a few blue chip players. You and some others can keep your heads buried in the sand and think everything is fine and dandy all you want. I dont have to accept mediocrity and I wont. Your last two sentences just show your ignorance. Congrats.

I'm going to agree with you. We need to get Trey Smith(OL) & some recruits like Holloman(WR), Wade(CB)(not likely), Akers(RB), Jaylen Harris(WR), Devon Hunter(ATH), LaBryan Ray(DE)(unlikely), Xach Gill(DT), Tyler Taylor(LB), Brad Stewart(CB), & Todd Harris(S).

If we can't get some of these which are all 4* & 5* recruits then our 2017 class will probably not even break the top 15.

"Living rent free", your go-to line.

My last two sentences show perspective. There are hundreds of fish in the sea. What makes you think we were a serious contender for Kuntz? The fact that we offered him a scholarship? Should we individually mourn and bemoan the loss of every single one of them? He picked the instate school that is an hour and a half away from his home. That school just also happens to be overachieving this year. This wasn't too hard to see coming, so pardon me if I don't share your feelings of utter despair over missing out on a kid that was likely never coming here to begin with.

If this had been a kid from Bristol, VA, and his final two were UVA and Tennessee, you'd have a fair argument, and I'd probably share in your disgust, but there isn't anything to suggest we were even a major player, let alone a finalist for Kuntz. So, your predictable reaction is more than a little dramatic, especially for a 2018 recruit, not to mention, to use your word, ignorant.

Rent's due.
