Let's hope he can. His past performance doesn't inspire much hope. I think he will be a short yardage switch up. His MSU career was very underwhelming.

For the first time since pee wee football, Madre London was no where to be found on the gridiron this spring.

“It was a challenge,” London told VolQuest.

“It was weird being away from the team. I’ve been here for four years. I grew up with a lot of those guys. I came in with a child mindset and am leaving as a man, but it was hard not playing this spring and seeing their faces. It was hard just having to go workout by myself and having to train alone. It’s different when you’re training with your team. It was just weird with everybody else playing football and I’m out there training during like a little dead period.”

London’s “dead period” wasn’t truly dormant though, as colleges across the country gauged his interest for 2018.

He began there during the beginning of MSU's down turn.
LJ Scott was also a beast.

He had a pretty solid freshman year. He's got some talent.

His ypc and less than a 1000 career yards has me like meh. I never watched MSU though. Maybe he'll surprise me.

Watching a couple of MSU games against good defenses, he tended to stop his feet and lean way too much during contact. He can catch and run with the ball. He just needs to act like a 220-pounder and run with power.

I like this guy - quote from 247 article today:

"I knew it was the right place going into it — opportunity and a good situation,” London told GoVols247 last month. “I can be an immediate impact for the team. They’re looking for a bigger back, so I filled in that role. Now I’ve just got to do my part.

“They’ve got some outstanding running backs they’ve got there now. They’re kind of smaller, but we all can fit in,” he added. “Me and then, I guess, Jeremy — the running back that’s coming in — we’re kind of, like, the bigger guys. And then they have the little, smaller guys. But it’s all going to fit in right, as far as the scheme, power running and things they want to do — get people out in space.”

I like our RB situation. London, Chandler, and Jordan all compliment each other very well. Ty should be the feature guy IMO.

Why not just mix them in all 4 quarters?

Lol right? I mean think about it this way. You let your big back take on some of the up the middle and then throw Chandler in. They aren't expecting up the middle and boom wide open hole for a touchdown after London and Banks had been pounding away.
