If the Vols close this Oline class with the top guys in state, along with Penix/Martinez, and they get the 18 & 19 WRs they want from the state....it would be as ideal a spot as there is in the country for a RB. We should be competing for a 5 star back each year, but in 2019 we could have more to sell to a RB than we've had in awhile.

Tennessee definitely hasn't "closed down talks" with Carvin. The Vols still are recruiting him hard and probably are one of the two or three teams in the best shape with him right now. But Alabama looks like a legitimate threat for Carvin and has been pretty heavily involved with him so far. It sounds like there's a real chance he could be a take for the Crimson Tide, so if they continue to push for him, Tennessee might have a major fight on its hands. Ole Miss is in there, too.
