Gaetz isn't proposing anything effective. Trump certainly hasn't proposed anything effective. They are wanting to change the rules of the game to benefit them personally. They are showing no indications of carrying about the future fallout from their actions. IMO your cure is worse than the disease, just like Fauci shutting down the nation to save us from Covid.
