I learned my lesson, no more input on what I'm hearing on this end about SoCal recruits, y'all the most closed about outside opinions from a local that has something to add about kids from this area.

For what it's worth, your coaches did a wonderful job in recruiting Griffin, if not for dad's aversion to flying...he'd be in a Vols uniform if not for that.

Still wish you the best of luck, I'll continue to lurk to get a feel for prospects in your part of the country, I've always felt the local fans and media have greater insight to your Southern boys more than our guys.

I found your info helpful, and would like to see it continue. Don't forget that there are a lot of other folks who just read, or steer away from posting in threads where the criticism is directed towards others, rather than football issues.

Don't be afraid to drop info. Just don't feel like you have to defend it. Many of us like an outside perspective. It's just when you start trying to defend yourself the jackals attack and both sides get frustrated. Just ignore the attacks. For what its worth you were never really wrong with info. Just wasn't always good news. Haha

were southerners, we do closeminded better than anyone!

That’s crap. Everybody does “close-minded” equally well, from all corners of the country....just depends on whether or not you agree with a particular region’s close-mindedness. For example, California commies are just as “close-minded” about the things they think as southerners or midwesterners or northeasterners are about what they think.

A lot of truth to this

Not getting a commit because of some random ass crap like being deathly afraid of flying is classic Tennessee.

Thanks for the info you bring, some of us appreciate it.

Word is UF on July 7.. He's making his 3rd visit this spring to UF.. bringing parents this trip. Still wouldn't bet against SC come NSD.
There was something a while back that, one of your coaches was best friends with his daddy. Is that correct?

If y’all pull this off, it will be an SEC east showdown in recruiting between us, Georgia, Florida in the next two recruiting cycles. I think we are headed there anyways.

Correct.

I won't get excited until one of the West Coast guys flip their Cb to UF. The visits and family's relationship with Coach English are encouraging tho.

not that it's the same thing, but we were feeling good about Griffith last cycle cause of his family ties to Chattanooga.

wasn't enough.

hard to get the west coast guys, especially when USCw or UCLA is heavily in the mix.

i'd wish you luck, but i'd just be lying.

Always tough to pull kids top kids out of Cali so I won't get overly excited if he happens to choose UF next month. I've watched this dance before with UF and WC kids.

That might be enough to pull him in, and good luck with that visit. Let me know right here how it goes.:hi:
