'19 CA QB JT Daniels (Georgia commit)

Let’s look at Ga state. If you want to say JG whom played a very average game that day “lost” that game and ignore the horrible defense you in turn must say JG “won” the UTC game.

To say either game was decided by the Qb isn’t wise at all. JQ was great against UTC while the defense threw a Shutout. JG was ok against Georgia State while the defense was just plain gawd awful.
I don’t like agreeing with you, but I agree with you.

The defense for the GS game was awful but so was our offense.

You didn't just seriously compare JG to Brady and Manning... did you? Wow. How detached from reality are you?

Two exceptions from one of the worst red zone QB's in all of college football is supposed to prove your point?

If you aren't an alternate screen name for k-town... I'd like to remind you that it is his turn to use the brain stem.
You really can't put 2&2 together. Nobody is comparing JG to the 2 greatest ever and it's childish to come away with that take. The debate is if a QB engineering 2 4th quarter come from behind TD drives in do or die situations equates to playing bad. You can't have it both ways Mr neverJG, you either think winning in the 4th quarter is a good quality in a QB or you don't.

Lol, another Vol fan that believes a QB leading his team to 2 4th quarter come from behind scores in do or die situations was a bad thing. Newsflash for you and every other fickle fan, winning football games in the 4th quarter is a big deal for QBs. Brady and Manning have a ton of 4th quarter game winning drives, I guess you think they stunk as QBs during those games as well.

Listen man!...I applaud you for holding his jock strap this long but to put it blunt terms just so that you understand.JG’s season high TD passes Thrown in a game was 3 and that was against Chattanooga!..if you think that kind of play will win us the SEC East,SEC championship and the national title then by all means please be prepared to get flamed 🔥 by this whole board😂😭 he threw 1 or 2 TD’s in every game he played last year TOPS. which tells me our Defense won most of our games..those are just facts man.

dumb ignorant take blinded by hate.

Really football ignorant take

I don’t hate anyone lol....you tell me how JG beat SC when his TD’s came earlier in the game when it was still close? You forget SC was ahead early lol..JT’s bomb took the air out of SC when it mattered late in the game. It was 21-24 TN when Jg threw his last TD!?!!! Am I missing something here👀😭😂😂😂😂

The D was short and had zero experience on the DL. They needed help. They needed a QB that could sustain drives and keep them off the field. JG needed to be the difference maker in that game as a RS Jr with tons of experience and plenty of tools around him. UT's first six drives of the 2nd half involved 28 plays for 116 yds, two FG's, and an INT. Without the last drive, JG's stat line... isn't good. GSU kept baiting him into short throws for minimal gains waiting for mistakes... and it worked.

When your RS Jr can only manage 23 points while the game is competitive against a D that will give up 42 pts to Furman and 59 pts to Western Michigan in the next two weeks.... your QB is a problem.

You don't have to believe me. JG was benched after UF. But it was NOT that one game that finally convinced Pruitt to take a huge risk with Maurer. It was GSU, BYU, and 2 years of similar poor play before that.

JG’s Tds were early in the game when it could have went either way.Shrouts Bomb sealed it.JT had one and JG had 2 not much difference other than the fact JT’s TD game later in the game when it was crunch time.

Lol
JGs td tool control of the game. The momentum was running hard ass downhill before Shrout did anything

Did USCjrs score in the 2nd half? That game was over the second we took the lead 28-24, Taylor and Bituli made sure of that.

Well that isn’t the topic. There are three measurements as I am discussing.
1) QB losses the game

2) QB doesn’t decide the outcome

3) QB wins the game.

You seem to be skipping over and expecting JG to win the game and that’s what he needed to do that day. He needed to overcome awful defense and awful coaching. He didn’t do that but that doesn’t mean he lost the game

Yes. You very literally DID. If you cannot communicate then that's not my problem.

The debate is if a QB engineering 2 4th quarter come from behind TD drives in do or die situations equates to playing bad.
Depends in part on opponent and whether those drives constitute the "rule" or the "exception". You also have to look at WHY those games required a come back. I assume one of the games you are referring to is IU. The reason UT needed to come back is because JG stank it up so badly in the first half when even mediocre QB play would have put the game out of reach.

You can't have it both ways Mr neverJG, you either think winning in the 4th quarter is a good quality in a QB or you don't.
No. You can't set up a fallacy of limited alternatives while parsing the facts to suit your conclusion and expect me to just swallow the bait. There are a few guys around here that are clever enough to do what you try and get away with it sometimes. You... aren't that clever.

You obviously have no clue what you’re talking about unless you’re giving SC 28 points because we had 24...please have several seats sir.
