You sir do no understand how elite secondary’s on championship teams work

I understand more than you will ever know and his azz got burned by Missouri and Vandy and Dent is elite and Taylor is a great athlete learning a new position who could be fine at WR with Dent at CB. However, if we don’t get Dent, I am fine with Taylor at CB. Was an overall bright spot.

Got exposed in last two games. Hopefully, just had a couple of bad games.

If it took 10 games to expose him.... I would assume he is a really good CB..... considering how much film would have to be watched.

That being said. I don’t think it was an exposure the last 2 games I think those two QBs had all day to throw and you can only cover a guy for so long. On top of that a lot of those throws were contested by Alontae and the receiver just made a play.

I will also end with this, he was a True Freshman playing a new position. He was a lockdown corner pretty much all season. You don’t move someone like that to WR.

You do if Dent beats him out IF it makes the team better and he is a starter at WR. Will be nice if we can start having these issues.

By the way, don’t worry. We ain’t getting Dent and Taylor will stay at corner. He did great as a freshman but has plenty of room to grow and is not a lock down corner against top wide receivers. However, he has the potential to get there.

I’m with everybody else on this one. It’s much harder to find a corner.

not many CB’s are elite as freshman... he was pretty dang good and maybe he did get exposed against juniors and seniors at the end of the year. Fact is that considering he’s played one year of CB he was pretty dang good and showed a lot of potential... I want Dent and if he beats out Taylor all the better that just means Dent is incredible, even if he did i’d rather keep Taylor on D for depth, that’s what i meant when i said you didn’t understand elite Secondary’s it’s because elite secondary’s go at least 2 deep at every spot so why would we switch Taylor even if he isn’t a starter?

No I get the depth thing. I just think Taylor is one of our best talents period and would hate for him or Thompson to be wasted. But I like the thought of Thompson perhaps at free safety and dent and Taylor at corner. I wouldn’t mind seeing Taylor or Thompson getting the ball in their hands more.

If you get Dent you keep them all at CB I'd say 70-80% of the time we have 5 DBs on the field anyway. I think you put Thompson in the nickel and Taylor and Dent outside. There were a few times this season where Thompson looked really good in the box. With as bad as our corners have been the past decade having 3 possible NFL players at the top of our corner depth chart will be a good "problem" to have if we can get him

Wonder if we're checking in on some of the other FSU commits that didn't sign, like Nick Cross or Brendan Gant? If Harris were to flip to UNC we could use another Safety, and both Cross and Gant are 4*'s. Also Quashon Fuller, 4* DE. We need DL.

Gant has some grade issues and.he's been flirting with OM and Okie. Fuller has a mother and uncle pushing him to.FSU. FSU insiders think Cross is flipping to Maryland.

I do not like this news. I now feel inclined to make fun of you for being a gay-turd fan.
