'19 Garrett Jennings OT-Elizabethton High School

6'6" TE converted to tackle. Coach is Jason Witten's brother. Clemson made first visit spring of 2017. Camping at VA Tech, Clemson, and UT summer of 2017.

Visited by UT Oline staff late May 2017 after Jason Witten called UT and told them to go look at him. His mother is my surgery scheduler. His father is a former Alabaman and lifelong Tide fan but they are open to all D1 offers and interested in the 3 schools he is camping at as within decent drive from TriCities and first three to express interest.

We played Oak Ridge regularly, but not Jeff & Sevier County in the reg season all that often.

😄 Sorry. I am a Jeff County boy and played baseball there. I don't like any of the TriCities schools because played them all it seemed (not Elizabethton or Sullivan North) in the playoffs in baseball when I was in high school.

That's true most of the time but it's still far far from being called a sucky team like you posted. By the way, they are not in a sucky conference either. They play some of the big boys in 6A like DB, Oak Ridge, Bradley Central, & Sevier County too.

I love Johnson county high school but hate everyone else especially Elizabethon and Hampton

I will say that when SC was going good, they had some great games with DB. Sevier County's coach retired about three years ago and they are not as strong as they were. I will concede the point about their schedule. It is better than it used to be.

He camped at UT today. Had a great day. His mom just texted me and said Butch Jones said "I have big plans for you!"

Of course could just be coach speak or could say to plenty. They had a good day. Mom prefers UT over VaTech but they do camp there tomorrow. Wake Forest coach was all over him too. Will see.
