Speaking of failure, what was Notre Dame's record?

No doubt, and that is Bass' point as well. I'm just acknowledging that what we are saying about Notre Dame and Kelly, other fanbases are saying about Tennessee and Butch.

You found it. The smoking gun.. How can he still be a free man, much less still the head coach at ND?........

Probably because the school is backed and sanctioned by the Catholic Church. [SARCASM]I mean, obviously the Catholic Church has never done anything to make the general public distrust them.[/SARCASM]

A religious conspiracy. The plot thickens...

I figured that one was obviously a joke but I guess I was mistaken.

End of the day, Kelly made a decision that cost a young man his life. A decision that other coaches in the same area of the country did not make because they didn't want to put anyone in jeopardy. Then, after making a horrible decision, he showed absolutely zero remorse about it, even continuing to practice for another half hour after the young man fell to his death.

But hey, no big deal.

Why would a parent ever consent to letting their son play for him? I wouldn't.

I agree with you, you can't say he directly killed a guy but the decision he made definitely caused the death

Never said he wasn't responsible. He is the head coach.. Never said it wasn't a big deal either. He made a bad decision and then tried to lay it off on his support staff.. Still doesn't make him a killer.. Irresponsible *******? Definitely..

Honestly I think we pretty much agree here.

Fair enough. I was probably overly chitty towards you, and for that I apologize, last night about it just because I think Kelly escaped that whole incident with little to no real consequences. I really do feel like it was borderline manslaughter territory if you read the background behind the incident and Kelly's apparent desire to never have his team (and therefore the support staff) practice indoors.
